Be Creative

You may draw pictures, use pictures from magazines or say have you seen those new I-Zone Cameras from Polariod? These cameras use sticky film!!! They are really cool! You could make picture books with the sticky film! Books can be any size or shape - be creative. Make a rough draft of your story first and then have your teacher/tutor/parent check your spelling and grammar. Then type the text or print it neatly on your pages. Once you are done with your text and pictures, laminate your page to protect it. You may also include a picture of yourself and a mini bio in your book on the back of the book or on the last page.

We will include some links on book making soon - if you have some great websites on book making send them to us. Email us pictures of you or your class making books! We will make a webpage with your pictures for other students to see how you made your books.

You can make books for any age group on a topic of your choice

Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st - 3rd grade, 4th - 6th grade, 7th - 8th grade and High School

You might also opt for making poetry books or for younger children picture books. Join the listserve to share ideas!

Have Fun!!!
